The Play@Home programme consists
of three books: the baby book for
children from birth to one year, the
toddler book for children from one
to three years and the pre-school
book for children from three to five
years. The programme has been
developed on the philosophy that
parents are their children’s first
educators. Children learn through
movement and play, they imitate
sounds and actions, they enjoy
loving touch and they will
appreciate the benefits of the
programme as they grow up.
The programmes are designed to guide
parents through the early years by
giving appropriate instructions to
aid development. They suggest
healthy techniques and activities
that can be used to strengthen
bonding and communication, improve
parenting skills and introduce
healthy lifestyle routines and
attitudes from the first day of
life.
